Mark is a highly experienced lawyer who has practised in a number of areas of law during his lengthy career. Mark was a partner and later a sole practitioner in his own firm in the CBD. He joined Atkinson Vinden Lawyers as a Special Counsel in 2019 and is now a director of Vinden Lawyers. Mark’s main areas of practice are estate planning (including binding financial agreements), Probate and estate administration, and estate disputes. He also practices in property and trusts. Mark has been a part-time lecturer at UTS and KOI Institute. He is a regular lecturer to the legal profession in Wills and Estates related issues.
Sheena specialises in all aspects of commercial law and corporate law with a particular focus on the aged care and retirement village industry including acquisitions, disposals, transactional matters and disputes particularly with respect to proceedings in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Sheena advises a number of operators both in the for profit and not for profit sector in various areas including advisory on compliance and structuring arrangements.
Jack is a broadly skilled individual admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW on 28 March 2022.
Jack currently practices general commercial and property law at Vinden Lawyers. He also has some experience in disputes and litigation and is interested in gaining more experience in that area. He is keenly interested in helping individuals with their legal questions and issues. Jack also has aspirations to specialise in construction law in the near future.
Prior to Vinden Lawyers, Jack worked in the Governance Team at MSA National where he oversaw disputes in the mortgage management and conveyancing industry. Prior to MSA, Jack worked as a project manager for BRC Roofing & Cladding Australia in the commercial construction industry. As a result of his experience, Jack is highly skilled in issue identification and providing sound resolutions through strategising and setting procedure.
